General
Prices based on quantity quoted. Quote good for 10 days unless otherwise specified on quotation. Subject to prior sale. Items made-to-order are non-cancelable / non-returnable. Up to 10% over or under the specified quantity for made-to-order items may be shipped at seller’s option. Orders under $100.00 are subject to a small order surcharge.
Payment
Payable in U.S. Funds only. Standard terms are net 30 days (pending credit approval). Only the President & C.O.O. Can negotiate non-standard terms. Non-current accounts will be reviewed for appropriate action which may include: a) the account to be put on hold at 45 days from invoice date. B) the account to be placed for collection at 120 days from invoice date. It is the customer’s responsibility to promptly notify their customer service rep of any discrepancy in product received. Credit returns must be accompanied by an rga number, supplied by our returns department. This policy supercedes any prior policy. There will be a $50.00 charge for all returned checks.
Return goods
No returns will be accepted without an rga number assigned by our return goods department. Returned items without an rga number will be refused and returned at customer’s expense. No returns on made-to-order items or altered items. Only stock items may be returned for credit (10 ft coils, reels, connector links, offset links, roller links, stock program sprockets). Items returned must be re-sellable. If re-boxing or re-packaging is necessary, as determined by our receiving department, a fee will be deducted to cover this expense. No returns allowed after six (6) months from purchase date. A credit will be issued for the original purchase price minus a re-stocking fee as follows: a) value of $300.00 or less – $50.00 minimum re-stocking charge. B) value of $300.01 & up – 20% of value. Credit balances may only be applied to future orders. Allied-locke will not make reimbursements for outstanding credit balances that are unused. All credits must be used within twelve (12) months of issue date, or they will be considered void. Freight on returned stock items is the responsibility of the company returning same & must be prepaid. Stock items not returned prepaid will be refused & returned at customer’s expense. If the returned stock items were originally delivered freight prepaid, the credit will be minus the outbound freight (prorated to weight of returned stock items.)
Warranty & Claims
Products manufactured by seller shall conform to the description & specifications set out herein, and shall be free of defects in workmanship & material at the time of shipment. There are no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
A) Our products are inspected prior to shipment. Seller will consider no claims for shortage or errors unless made promptly upon receipt of products.
B) Seller’s liability and buyer’s remedy for breach of warranty or otherwise are expressly and exclusively limited to repair or replacement, at seller’s option, of non-conforming products, provided the defect is reported to seller within one (1) year of shipment.
C) Seller’s liability with respect to any product not of seller’s manufacture shall be limited to that of the vendor thereof. Repairs to, alterations of, or work done on products warranted hereunder without seller’s prior written authorization shall void all warranties applicable thereto.
D) Seller is not responsible for any damages, special or incidental, direct or consequential, beyond replacement of the item(s) found to be defective. Seller is not responsible for any loss or damage in transit.
